The New Zealand Chronicles | Preface

[To the tune of the Gilligan's Island theme song, minus a verse or two]
[Minus exactly two]

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful trip,
That started toward a pair of isles,
Aboard a flying ship.

Our mate, a stressed out TV girl,
Our heroine, ready for shores,
As a passenger set sail one day,
For an eleven day tour.
An eleven day tour.

The voyage started getting rough,
The trip through L.A. sucked.
If not for the Ang at the other end,
The fun mood would be lost.
The fun mood would be lost.

The ship set down on the tarmac of a South Pacific isle,
With Angela,
And Danie too.
The squash player,
And his mates.
One movie star.
No professor but
One Sharron,
There on Auckland's Isle!

Heaps of lights & boats & caravans,
There were all the luxuries.
Nothing like the hobbits showed,
There was WiFi and TV.

So join us here each day my friend,
You're sure to get a smile,
From the cast of characters,
There on Auckland's Isle!
